About
There’s an incredible amount of unhelpful nonsense on the Internet about how to get stuff done and surprisingly little (practical) guidance on how to actually get stuff done. That’s dumb!
Hannah was sick of seeing the same nonsense again and again, so she founded Jimmy to offer practical advice for wrangling real-world challenges based on her experience getting stuff done in the real world. The Jimmy mission is simple: to find better ways to engineer outcomes by doing it, and helping others to do it, too.
We chose the name Jimmy because it works two ways — it’s both a tool (a crowbar), and what you do with that tool (you know, to jimmy something open). That’s exactly how we see outcomes engineering: it’s about having the right tools and knowing how to use them effectively to get stuff done.
Plus, it makes us smile. And we think that matters, too.
About Hannah
Hannah is an enthusiastic Outcomes Engineer with more than a decade of getting stuff done in complex environments.

It all started when Hannah met a lead Business Analyst in the office kitchen while working in a call centre. Until then, she’d never even heard of a Business Analyst or these other delivery concepts. But the fit — wrangling stuff, digging into problems, making things happen — was obvious.
So shortly after that fateful encounter, she talked her way into a secondment on the internal agile software development team as a junior Business Analyst and has been working in this space ever since.
Nowadays you’ll find her neck deep in Miro boards, breaking down gnarly problems, making work friends, and happily digging into all the details involved in delivering digital solutions. When she’s not working, she writes, talks, and is endlessly enthusiastic about the nuts and bolts of getting stuff done in the real world.
Jimmy is the result!
She lives in Te Whanganui a Tara (Wellington), Aotearoa New Zealand with her partner, two cats, and an unreasonable number of laptops for just two humans.
She loves nattering about all the things and would love to hear from you! You can Connect with Hannah on LinkedIn or reach out using the contact form!
